Meet Walta: Our August Brocc Star

Every Month, we recognize a DNO team member who goes above and beyond in their role. This month’s Brocc Star is Walta, a warehouse associate, whose dependability, selflessness, and commitment to his team, has made him an essential member of the DNO team.

Walta has been a committed team member at DNO for years. Before DNO, Walta worked for our sister company, FRESHEALTH, since 2021 as a utility employee, where he was promoted to a lead position. He switched over to DNO operations in 2024.

“Wally is a respectful, dependable, and dedicated member of the DNO Operations team,” says his supervisor.

Walta genuinely cares about doing the right thing for his customers and for DNO. He’s known for stepping in to pick up extra work and is always eager to assist walk in customers. Walta is consistently learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities. This commitment to his team has made him a trusted team member and someone others can always count on.   

Walta’s positive attitude, strong work ethic, and continuous improvement have set him apart from the team and have had a significant impact on the success of the others. Walta always uses proactive communication and asks valuable questions to make sure that he finds the best solution for customers and to support our company’s goals.
